In the short term one should feel an overall sense of integration, more relaxed, lighter, calmer, increased flexibility and energy. Regular shiatsu treatments (every two or four weeks) results in the continued sense of well being and disappearance of minor symptoms such as musculoskeletal pain, recurring colds, etc. For those suffering more serious problems, such as cancer or multiple sclerosis, regular shiatsu treatments can contribute to overall healing by maximizing the body’s natural healing power and minimizing stress.
