It's very cool to be a beginner. At WHY, we have made it our mission to make yoga available to everyone, regardless of age, experience or flexibility. Yoga can be a powerful practice, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. So come without expectations, come with an open heart and, most importantly, come and play with us!

Valid for new students only, the new student pass may be used for all regular yoga classes on our schedule. Any new student can take advantage of this awesome offer and try out as many different classes and teachers as you can squeeze into one month.
Want to ease your way in? Many students start with our Intro to Yoga beginners series. These classes are designed to help you become familiar with basic yoga postures, breathing techniques, and proper alignment. If you've been curious about yoga, but maybe a little intimidated walking into a class, this series may be for you.

Plan to arrive about 10-15 minutes early before your first class to fill out a new member consent form
Avoid eating a heavy meal for 2-3 hours before class ... drink plenty of water beforehand
Wear something you are comfortable sweating in ... you won't need shoes or socks
Bring a mat if you have one (if not, you can purchase or rent one here)
A towel and water bottle are also good to have with you
Let the teacher know about any minor health issues or injuries before class. If you have a serious injury, or if you are pregnant, please check with your physician before beginning yoga
