CORE/AB POWER

Tone your abdomen, strengthen your back, and create a strong center. Transform the body through breath, go deep into internal organs to release toxins, and bring freedom and fluidity into your body. This series targets often neglected muscle groups. A strong core will help you avoid injuries. A great compliment to your regular yoga practice. All levels.

HEALTHY LIFESTYLES
8 week series - shankara
A seminar class for those seeking to more permanently establish a life of balance and harmony - both on and off the yoga mat. Drawing from the ancient wisdom of yoga along with a wide array of techniques from Western psychology, students will be able to create the necessary foundation to move toward a more rewarding life. Explore both the internal and external barriers to living holistically and how to overcome them. Participants in this series will receive the inspiration and support to make positive changes in their lives. Barbara Ruzansky will be leading one class on the role of food and healing. Physical yoga postures will be performed only during week 2, no experience necessary.

INTRO TO YOGA

This introduction to the fundamentals of yoga will teach you correct alignment, breathing and relaxation techniques. Increase flexibility as you strengthen, tone, and revitalize your body. WHY KIDS - SPECIAL NEEDS
4 week series - becca
This yoga class is specifically designed for children who have been diagnosed with ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Your child will learn fun yoga poses to promote body awareness, increase flexibility and strength, sing playful songs and learn breathing techniques to decrease hyperactivity and improve concentration. Parents are strongly encouraged to participate in the yoga class.
Saturday:  11:00 - 11:45 am. September 25 - October 23 (skip October 16)
$60 per child. Drop-ins welcome for $17 per child Register online

WHY KIDS
becca
Brings the basics and benefits of yoga to your little ones as they have fun with “downward dog”, “tree”, “cobra” and more. A safe space for your kids to move and breathe, led by a yoga instructor specifically trained to work with youngsters and their needs. Calms and centers the growing body and mind.
