Barbara’s own path to health is at the heart of her teaching. Barbara – founder and director of West Hartford Yoga - spent much of her life struggling with eating disorders and depression, including years in a variety of treatment programs. Discouraged by the lack of improvement, she eventually found the miracle of healing through yoga, whole foods cooking, and other spiritual and holistic practices. She has been working with people struggling with eating disorders for twenty years. Barbara is joined by Gillian Galen, and Nykki Poole.

"This eating disorder workshop was one of the most insightful, meaningful and beautiful experiences I have ever had. We learned how to heal ourselves of toxic thinking and create the safe space inside ourselves that we had been searching for."--  Eating Disorder Workshop participant, 2006

Please Note: This program is not for people who require 24 hour psychological support or who are medically compromised as a result of dangerously low body weight or frequent purging.
